Nearby amenities
Town amenities are about a 15-minute drive from the chalet. Travel time may vary depending on the destination and road conditions.
Lac Kénogami
This is the immediate setting for your stay at KENO. In summer, walk directly to the private dock. In winter, enjoy the snowy landscape without assuming the ice is safe to use. Lac Kénogami and Lac Saint-Jean are two distinct lakes.
Saguenay and the fjord
Chicoutimi, Jonquière and La Baie are reference points for exploring Saguenay. The Saguenay Fjord offers another regional landscape to discover on a separately planned outing.
Lac-Saint-Jean
Alma, Roberval and Saint-Félicien are other reference points for discovering the region. Choose outings based on your interests, the season and current conditions, rather than assuming they are close to the chalet.
Before you leave
- Check Québec 511 for road conditions, roadwork and closures before setting out, especially in winter.
- For hiking in the Lac Kénogami area, consult the regional park listing and check conditions and access with the operator. No trail access from the chalet is advertised.
- In winter, only venture onto the lake when ice conditions, weather and local authorization allow it. Always follow notices from the relevant authorities and operators.
- Confirm opening seasons, reservations and services directly with the places you plan to visit. Plan your groceries and meals accordingly.
